Catching Up

December 28th was my last day ever at Williams Brothers. It was a sad day and I mis the people and the customers dearly but with basketball season in full swing I decided to part ways.

I walked in for my shift and the girls all had black on and had decorated the doorway with a black trashbag...

They then had ice cream cake which was yummy!!!

I received The Power of a Praying Wife from my mom for Christmas and I finished it up just a few days after Christmas...it was so good!

I scored this scarf on sale for less than $12 a few weeks ago....I bought it for my bestie, Brittany, for her birthday but I had to get one too! They no longer have this color but they have a navy/burgundy that is just as cute :).

These two cuties love cheering at basketball games..the one on the right is one of the coaches daughters.

We're excited to bring in 2016...can you tell???
I made the famous monster cookies just for Todd (hey Todd!!) and they were a hit!

We got to celebrate the new year with our nephew....he was a champ!

LJ turned 1 on December 30 but we celebrated him on January 3rd at our house!

He is such a ham!

He loved his cake :).

It was such a fun party :).

That evening we hosted some of the youth for dinner (it was their Christmas party) and then we took them back to the church for presents and games. We adults stayed too and played along with them!

This first game was so fun and I was in charge of taking pictures!
They wrapped a present multiple times and we had to put sunglasses, gloves, and a scarf on while the person to our left (or right I don't remember) rolled 2 dice and had to get doubles. Once they got doubles you had to pass the present and attire to the next person.

Silly boys!

My brother & Shirley were so funny together!

We then played 5 minute-to-win-it games.

This game we had to get an oreo from our forehead into our mouth with using only our face. Our group had to use mini chocolate bars because we ran out of oreos.

This game we had to get cotton balls into the bowl by picking it up with a spoon.

Stacking blocks as high as you could without them falling over...

...and some more oreos eating :).

We had so much fun with the youth that night!!

2015 in Review

I am a little late posting about our year but here it goes. This year has been a whirlwind of sorts. I feel as if we have fit so much into this year and Noah & I have gotten to build a life together. For that I am so so thankful.

 January

In January my grandma passed away and we loved her dearly. We know she and grandpa are watching over us from heaven.

The last weekend of January we had Sam & Joe all weekend and I love watching Noah teach them :).

My bachelorette party happened.

And our wedding invitations came in....

We headed to Winter Jam with the youth.

And my bridal shower commenced :).

April

Ahh April.....it was a big month.

Noah bought a Ninja Turtle shirt and Joe was in heaven.

We were married on 4/18!

May

We enjoyed our time on our honeymoon.

And when we arrived back it was time for my sister to graduate

We served Christ on Matthew 5:16 Day.

We moved into our home (in May) and these ladies came over for an evening :).

We had a cookout at our house with family.

And a slumber party with these four crazies!

We headed to St. Louis to watch our Cubbies play!

We celebrated the 4th watching softball and fireworks.

We were able to celebrate Tyler and Sarah.....

....and then caught a flight to Outerbanks.

Where we spent a whole week with family on the beach!

August

August came and went but not before we spent almost an entire weekend at the softball field.

We celebrated Joe turning 8...how is that possible???

...and played some tennis :).

We went for golf cart rides around the campground.

The boys & I made cookies one Friday afternoon.

We threw my parents a surprise anniversary party and they were so surprised!

We also celebrated Noah that weekend...he turned 27 :).

Our first annual Friendsgiving was held and we had a blast!

Good times at the winery with the best friends.
Thanksgiving with family is always a favorite.

There's our 2015 in review....I can't believe it's 2016 already.

This year I vow to have my 2016 in review done before the end of the year...I wasn't prepared this year.
