Our weekend

This past weekend was our annual women's retreat at our church. We opened it up to other women outside of our church this year and we had 40 women sign up! Around 37 came and it was the best time! We had 3 speakers and they spoke on Psalm 139 which was our theme.

I took the day off and Sissy & I headed over early (with some other ladies) to decorate and set up.

Becky had made these on her bible app...every verse from Psalm 139 was there and it was special being able to see those verses around the room.

Our retreat was held at Camp Rivervale near Mitchell, IN and that place is near and dear to my heart. Shirley, Jen, and I took the golf cart to explore the ground.

She heard something in the corn field and I caught the moment perfectly!
Such fun times.

Jen did an amazing job on the decorations! He is ENOUGH for us and we are ENOUGH in Him :)

Becky was amazing with the food table decor :)

Friday evening we had dinner, a game, one talk, and then s'mores :)

And my sister came this year!

Saturday we started with one last game and I was so excited for this one :)
Everyone loved it!! Since our theme was Psalm 139 I wrote out the bible verses (I had to repeat a few) and cut them up and we stuffed them into balloons. Then we blew the balloons up and tied them around our ankles. You had to try and pop each others balloons and the last one left was the winner.

After that game we had 2 more talks and lunch...such a humbling experience that I am so thankful I was a part of.

We were laughing so hard! Sissy won....we had to gang up on her to pop hers!
The point of the game is that Satan often tries to "pop" our balloons but with God's love we can overcome that :)

Such a wonderful group of ladies!

It was an amazing time and I think everyone was blessed by this weekend.

Sunday our nephew was getting baptized so we headed to early service at our church and then one of my besties was waiting for me with....a pumpkin spice latte! She works near a Starbucks and I was so excited when she brought me one. Thanks Kylie you fueled my coffee that morning!

We were home for an hour or so and then it was time to head to the chuch for LJ's baptism.

I love this sweet picture :)

Noah and Emily's best friend Sarah are LJ's godparents. Both are amazing people and will be great role models for LJ to look up to.

We love this little boy so much!

His cake was perfect....and yummy too!
Thank you Andy, Emily, and LJ for letting us be a part of his day :)

And our weekend wouldn't be complete without some pumpkins, right??

Happy Tuesday and tomorrow is What's Up Wednesday!
