I don't have very many pictures of day 3 because we went on a tour of the resort at 11 am and then went to the pool where....
I got burnt, bummer!
This was the view from our room, our pool is right there!
When we went on our tour the guide pointed out this tree which is the national tree of Saint Lucia, the Crescentia or Calabash tree.
After the tour we were at the pool for 3 hours and I put sunscreen on but still got burnt..bad!
Reading this book must've passed the time!
For dinner we had reservations at Kimonos and it was so yummy!! They fry the food in front of you and interact with you too.
I was a fan of the rice and chicken and I did try the fish!
Day 4 was Joe Knows day!!! It was recommended by Noah's sister and BIL and we are glad they told us to go!
We were ready to go! I had to wear a tshirt because my back was burnt so bad :(
They took us on a boat around the island to the town of Soufriere.
It was so pretty!
Noah with the Pitons in the background, their beer was named after those volcanos.
The gorgeous town of Soufriere but boy did it reek of sulfur!
We took vans up to the volcano where we got to do a hot spring and mud bath! Oh my goodness the water was hot! Like way hotter than hot tub water!
The mud came out of the volcano and the guides put it in a bucket where we got the mud and put it on each other. It made our skin so soft!
It was so hard to get off, I still had streaks on me in this pic but we were headed to the waterfall after mud baths!
The waterfall was gorgeous and the water felt much better than the hot springs!
After the waterfall we went back down by the boat and ate lunch. We ate at a local restaurant and had a Creole lunch and dessert...very good but I stuck with chicken, rice, and noodles!
After lunch we got back on the boat and toured Marigot Bay
which is where people like Oprah and George Foreman have houses!
It was very pretty and they had big boats!
They gave us rum punch and played some music, we had a blast!
Noah and BK.
That excursion was so fun and we will remember it forever! We had an amazing time and loved Saint Lucia!
See days 1 & 2 here.
Days 5 and 6 tomorrow!
