On a Sunday in November mom had mentioned going to French Lick for a tour. We thought we would just walk around and see it decorated for Christmas. She had tickets from work for a historic tour of West Baden.
We headed for Mexican first :).
And then.....mom thought the tour started at the French Lick hotel but we were wrong! It started at the West Baden hotel down the road.
But we took advantage of the photo op!

The tour was free and we were entered for a free night's stay at the West Baden hotel!

Our tour guide was a volunteer and he knew everything about this hotel!
Did you know that it served as a college for longer than it's been a hotel??
We even got to go up to the second floor overlooking the common area :).
Right behind us they usually have a HUGE tree but it wasn't up yet.
