Show & Tell Tuesday: Intro & Resolutions

Show & Tell Tuesday is one of my favorite link-ups. It's a year long (twice a month) link-up with Andrea where we talk about different things such as ourselves, families, organizational tips...you get the drift :).

To start off 2016 we are re-introducing ourselves and sharing our resolutions.

My name is Blake and I am 22 years old. I have been blessed to be married to Noah for almost nine months now. We live in the little old town of Loogootee where we both went to elementary and high school (he was 5 years older.) Both of our families live in Loogootee and we love having our entire families so close to us.

We both love our town where Noah coaches tennis and basketball so most of our fall, winter, and spring are spent on the tennis court or in the gym.

In 2015 we were able to travel many places and do so many things together...it makes life more interesting :).

We love our Cubbies!!!

We can't wait to see where we travel in 2016!

I started this blog as a scrapbook to document our lives and I love what it has blossomed into. I share some of my favorite things here and that's what makes it fun. I can write and document anything I wish. I love looking back on this past year and seeing what was important in our lives.

I love all things fall & pumpkin. Christmas is at the top too. Give me all the coffee and reading material. I could spend all my time on Pinterest.

I share almost daily on Instagram. (It's my favorite!)

I recently created a FB page for my blog and you can like it here.

I didn't really write down any resolutions but a few things I am passionate about this year include:

Eating healthy & exercising and reading my Bible daily

The eating healthy & exercising is just something I want to do for myself. God gave me this body and I want to take care of it for me and Him.

I already have a daily Bible verse that I read every morning on my phone but I want to dig deeper in God's word this year.

This was fun today! I can't wait to read through the other blogs :).

Here's the rest of the year all planned out.....

Christmas 2015 Part 2

Today I'm finishing up the last of our Christmas celebrations.
The day after Christmas my girlfriends and I got together for lunch, to exchange gifts, and to laugh. A lot.

Two of my friends also got selfie sticks so we had lots of fun with those!

See loads of fun??

I love these ladies more than anything. They are so fun and the thing that is most important that we all have in common? Our love for Jesus. I know at any given moment we can text (we have a running group message that the men in our life love) and at least one will respond with words of encouragement. For that I am so blessed and thankful. I mean we all went to kindergarten together (for the most part.)

We had such a fun Christmas together!

That evening was my mom's side family Christmas.
You're welcome Abby :).

What did we do before selfie sticks???

I'm also so thankful that my best friend is marrying into the fam!

Sunday morning before church I was enjoying the last day of our Christmas being up.

And my SIL got us this ornament for Christmas.

Phew we had a busy few days there but it was filled with family, friends, & love and that's what matters.

Christmas 2015 Part 1

Christmas Eve Noah & I both worked till 11 or so and then we had the day off. We opened gifts from each other and then it's a tradition that Joe comes to Christmas service with us.

Watching TV under our table.... :).

After church we have Christmas with my dad's entire family (great aunts & uncles and second & third cousins).

Merry Christmas Eve from the Callahan's!

Christmas day is jam packed but I love every minute of it! We head to my in-laws at 7:30 am to open presents with my SIL and her husband and their little boy.

LJ is the cutest :).

He wasn't completely into opening presents just yet...he liked to take a piece of the paper off the present and put it into his mouth :).

I love this little boy.

We then arrive at my parents' house to open with my parents and siblings.
Selfie stick for the win!

Then off to my aunt & uncle's to open with my dad's siblings and their children.

This family. They are my jam.

My cousin's birthday is on December 25 so we had cookie cake in his honor :).
He's ten!

Christmas wears you out!

The men played trivial pursuit.

Notice Noah's bright green sweatband???

It's from Joe :).

Back to my in-laws for their extended family Christmas.

And for the overload pictures of LJ....he loves seeing himself in the camera :).

We had such a wonderful Christmas and we are so blessed by our family.

Part 2 coming Monday :).
