The weather was mild the day we came home....more to come on that later.

We had a surprise waiting for us when we got home.
Mom & dad brought the kids over to meet Theo and then planned to take them back to their house for one more night. We are so so glad they did because.....I'll elaborate more later!

This is where it got crazy/funny! Mom & dad took the older kids back to their house and Noah, Theo, & I all got ready for bed. We knew it was supposed to storm but were not expecting what happened. It started getting windy and the power went out. We live in town so soon after the tornado siren started going off, great lol. One day post birth and the day we bring our newborn home.....we look back and laugh now. Our neighbors don't have a basement so they came over and we all camped out downstairs for awhile. The neighbors' swing set was knocked over, we lost power, and Noah had to bring me a pillow for the chair I was sitting on. We called my mom to make sure Graham & Quinn were okay...they were watching an accident being cleaned up outside their front window. Someone had hit a tree and totaled his truck but he was okay. Graham loved watching the flashing lights.
Once everything had died down we headed to bed....it was bittersweet looking back on that first night home. We had no power & no flashlights (lol) so we used Noah's laptop for light when Theo woke up the eat!
