Weekend Wrap-Up

I never got around to talking about last weekend or camp so I'll do a little recap here. 

Pizza & friends on a Friday night is always the way to go :).

Saturday morning I loaded up & was off to camp. I was a counselor for a kids mini camp (grades K-2nd grade) and we had training Saturday.

I was unloading my bag and found this from my sweet hubby :). 

I was a tad early so a little walk around the camp was in store. 

It truly is a beautiful place and so peaceful.

I stayed over Saturday night, went for a run Sunday morning (hello sun), headed back to church Sunday morning. and then back to camp for the campers to arrive. 

Noah came over and helped with registration Sunday afternoon and the campers started coming!

They stay Sunday & Monday and then their parents pick them up Tuesday evening. The weather did not cooperate Monday but we made the best of it! The kids had such a good time and I think they will all be back next year!

Tuesday night I got home and my first Nordstrom Anniversary sale order was waiting on me!

Black pants are the dress code for work so when I saw these black jeans on sale I knew they would be in my cart and I am glad there were. They are so comfy and fit like a glove!

I also needed a couple new tops for work and this Pleione top fit the bill :). 

A simple quote that makes me smile :). 

My bestie is home for a couple weeks and we jumped at the opportunity for lunch & a nail day!

Friday evening one of Noah's best friends (and our neighbor) had their rehearsal because they were getting married Saturday!

And it just so happens that two of my best friends are the groom's nieces :). 

After the dinner we decided to swing by the reception to check it out and it was beautiful!

We had a few drinks before we called it a night :). 

Saturday morning we were up bright & early (some of Noah's tux did not fit) to head to Jasper to get it corrected lol. 

I'm pretty biased but I think he's cute. 

I didn't take any pictures of the ceremony and I just now realized I don't have any of the bride & groom. But everything was so perfect and I love seeing them so happy!

We had a blast at their reception!

I love these friends of mine. 

Sunday was a relaxing day spent at the pool and I love this sweet picture Ash grabbed of us :).

Umm we've tried Trader Joe's chicken & steak burritos and their chicken quesadillas and they were so good!

I'm not really sure about the rest of the week.

Saturday.....the man on the left got married!!

coffee....lots & lots of coffee.

I was off at camp for a few days and we are getting back to our normal around here :).

Nothing at the moment....I am just blessed.

Making my first cheese ball lol.

I am hosting a Stella & Dot launch party next Friday and I want to test out how it tastes!

FALL!

I haven't really been watching anything but I have been reading....

The One Year Bible

I started July 1st....I've never read through the Bible and I thought this would be an easy way to start. I love it.

Attending a town block party & our 5 year class reunion.

Starting my fall decorating! I am gone a week in September and a week in October so I am going to put it up extra early :).

I am a Stella & Dot stylist and their fall collection came out yesterday!! That's pretty new!

Friday Favorites

It's Friday, I work until noon, & I'm off Monday & Tuesday! That being said I'll share my Friday Favorites with you :).

Sam & Joe have friends from Washington state that came to visit for the week. They mailed a ton of seafood here last week and decided to fry some fish one night. Noah & I got to join them (I ate a hotdog lol) and it was so fun watching them play together.

Meanwhile Sam & I were sharing a chair and he loved having his picture taken....

He was done swimming by this point :).

Our stomachs were full and sitting around the pool chatting away is one of my favorites. 

My hubby is the best sport about taking pictures. 

P.S. it's comfy!

I love a good scarf.

My collection of scarves has been on the backburner this summer but I broke out a lightweight scarf this week. I am super cold at work so this was perfect to throw on over a tank :).

Last night I was catching up on The Bachelorette, planning out next week, & drinking a cup of coffee. I threw my blardigan on and was cozy :)

I scored my blardigan last year but Nordstrom is having their Anniversary Sale right now and this year's blardigan looks super comfy!

I head off to camp as a counselor tomorrow through Tuesday and I ask that you pray. Please pray for the sweet campers and for the staff that God leads every step of our camp.

Or Olivia Benson in Law & Order: SVU.....I want to take her along because she's been a TV cop for how many years??? She would at least know some moves if needed to be used, right?

Lysa Terkeurst

I've read a few of her books and she seems like such a down-to-earth author. I would love to get to know her while deserted on an island. She would be able to pray with me....maybe even pray us out of there!

Lastly....

Jason Sudeikis

I wanted someone funny with a ton of wit & humor. I think he's hilarious in We're The Millers and Horrible Bosses. I'll bring him along to help lighten the mood when we are feeling sorry for ourselves!
