Bits of winter

Our January has been slow & low key so far. We have been cooking & eating at home....we are having fun putting together meals. I've made it somewhat of a challenge in my mind to see how long we can keep this up. I took down our Christmas and put up a few snowy/wintery decorations.
Along with that we made footprint snowmen, I can't wait to pull this out every winter. Our kids are a bit young for these types of crafts so I enlisted Noah to help. It gave me the confidence that I can do this and the older the kids get they can do canvas paintings themselves.

I painted the background blue and then practiced the footprints on a piece of construction paper to make sure their whole foot would transfer. Then Noah held each child while I painted their foot (there was a lot of giggling lol) and then we let that dry.

Finished product....I added the details the following morning and now it's part of our decor.

Noah came up from working and the older kids were determined that he was not going back to work.

Pictures Quinn or Graham take lol....

Our most played with toy from Christmas (we even bought Quinn more for her birthday.)

The twinkle lights just make me smile.

Quinn is 2

Our surprise little girl is now 2 on January 5th!

Just for fun a picture from when she was born.

I was off so she got dressed up and we snapped a few pictures.

I made cookies & tackled her cake too! The icing is a work in progress lol.

We took her out for her birthday dinner.

Then our parents & siblings came over for cake & ice cream.

So excited about her stroller.

Just a few pictures (it was hard to decide) of her over the year.

New Years 2020 & New Years Day

Our New Years was low key. We celebrated our nephew's birthday and then hung out at home. Our kids were in bed by 9 or 10 and so was I! Joe stayed up to see the ball drop and Noah made it to 11:40 (I think.)

Theo even got in on the celebration!

New Years Day we played at home and the Joneses came over for dinner. We then got ice cream & coffee at Zax....the kids got their own cup.

Back for bath time!

Post Christmas

That post Christmas clean up is real. We found that out this year lol....we spent most of Saturday & Sunday finding places for their new toys & games. They had fun seeing what all they got and played the weekend away!

A comparison picture from 2019 & 2020.

I love seeing how my kids love each other & get giggles out of Theo.

My mom put this in my stocking and I finished it in 2 days. So so good!

The Tuesday after Christmas we made the trek to Walmart to return some things & get our groceries for the week.

She never fails to put a smile on my face or anyone else's lol.

Christmas Day 2020

Christmas morning the kids woke up and got to see their gifts! Their ages are so fun and watching them get excited was so sweet! I made cinnamon rolls trees for breakfast while they got a bath before the rest of our day. There was a little dusting of snow and I captured that.

48 packs of butterscotch pudding!

Ready to go to Papaw & Mamaw Callahan's!

Queen Anna Quinn.

We took gifts home and drove around to let the kids nap for a bit. We then had Christmas with my parents and siblings.
