What's Up Wednesday {10-25-17}

Hey Hey!!
It's What's Up Wednesday and I'm linking up with Mel, Shay, & Sheaffer :).

The questions I'll be answering...

1. What we're eating this week...

I am cracking up typing this because we are a hot mess around here right now! But we've been eating a ton of cereal lately!! Maybe one of these days I'll get it together!

2. What I'm reminiscing about...

....this weekend last year we went out with Bryant & Brittany!
Our Cubs were in the playoffs and oh boy how different life is this year lol!!

3. What I'm loving...

...feeling Graham's sweet kicks :).

4. What we've been up to...

...lots and lots of this....
When we started planning Graham's room I knew I wanted a rug in here. We wanted to tape off the area to see how much furniture showed...etc. Well we used painters tape and when we pulled it up, the sealant came up too! Boo!!! So we knew we would have to re-do that part. Well I had this brilliant idea to put gray stain down....yea it wasn't pretty. So back to the store we went to restore it back to it's original color lol! I can't thank Noah, my uncle Will, AND my uncle Dan enough! Dan stained it last night and hopefully tomorrow night the finish will be put on!

5. What I'm dreading...

...re-doing the living room & hallway floors. But I shouldn't be home that weekend so maybe it'll all be done when I get back!

6. What I'm working on...

...putting together our maternity picture outfits.
I bought this vest and it hasn't came in yet so it's up in the air but this is the look we are going for!

I bought this maternity dress to wear under the vest....
And two shirts for Noah depending on what looks best! Wait & see!!

7. What I'm excited about...

...a trip to Gatlinburg with the women in my family in 2 weeks!! Hello Christmas shopping (and swollen feet!)

8. What I'm watching/reading...

....last week I shared all of the books I've read and there were some goods one! And maybe one or two not-so-good ones ;).

Currently watching all the fall movies! They are always predictable but I love them!

9. What I'm listening to...

..the fans blowing lol!
#homeremodel

10. What I'm wearing...

It's finally cold enough (umm 42 degrees) to wear chunky sweaters & scarves!!
I've also been wearing dresses with accessories :).

11. What I'm doing this weekend...

...heading to a conference with my co-workers!

12. What I'm looking forward to next month...

...our house being back in order! Putting up our Christmas decorations and all things festive!!

13. What else is new...

I'm sure all you Hallmark/Christmas lovers know....but their Countdown to Christmas starts Friday!
I've got my DVR set since I won't be home but first thing Saturday night I'll be falling asleep to one of these movies!

Bonus Question:
14. What is my favorite Thanksgiving side?
....umm mashed potatoes!!!

Life

Eek! October is almost over so I figured I would dump the rest of our August & September today!

My daily bible verse on August 28th.

A few weeks after Mila was born we took LJ to the high school volleyball game and he shared his snacks with the Wade girls!

And both of these were fitting for September 1st!

Molly & I had a dinner date at Mi Pueblo!

And on Labor Day weekend there was a food truck event so Noah & I tried that out!

It was super yummy and I tried some things I normally would not have tried!

Pork grilled cheese (I think!)

This was a sampler from NOM and was delicious!

We came, we ate, & we conquered! We walked around a bit after since it was a gorgeous day!

Just a cute little bridge!

That weekend was also the "Hit for Britt." I haven't shared too much about this topic but Britt is a local teenage girl (who also happens to be a cousin of mine) who was in need of a liver transplant. Our community has come together since July planning so many events for her! I can now say she has received her liver and is doing so well! That being said Hawkins Health Center had a team in the "Hit for Britt" and it was mostly made up of high school/college aged!
Side note: this past Sunday there was a golf scramble in honor of her and next Friday night, November 3rd, there is a night of worship! I am so amazed at our community and the good that we've seen!

Enjoying some iced coffee, nail painting, & a decent book lol.

And I love it when Ayla comes to work before preschool! I think this was her first day of the year!

Lincoln Park After Dark is one of my favorite fall colors!

Tried this pumpkin spice trail mix from Target and it did not disappoint!

Noah & I decided to make breakfast for dinner one night and everything was from Trader Joe's!

I had ordered a few dresses to wear this pregnancy and after.....throw on a scarf and you're ready to go!

We hit up the Chandelier Barn Market the day it opened and boy was it busy!

Showing off my new leather earrings from the Barn Market and a new lip gloss I tried!

Because I have about 7 more just like it lol!

We needed to use up some bread so grilled cheese outside it was!

I think leather earrings are on my love list this season!

One Saturday in September I was in charge of this guy and getting him to his soccer game!
He makes a cute goalie!

And then it was Kylie's turn to reveal what they were having!
A girl!

And just for fun I created a collage of each of our gender reveals....2 boys and a girl!

Showing off my fall tee from Little Mama Shirt Shop!
Pst....she has her Christmas tees out!

And big news!! I became part of Jamie Ivey's launch team to promote her new book!

We watched Jaelyn play :).

And attended a women's day where we met up with Lauren from All the Things! We love her show!

And then we met Jamie Ivey!! She was the speaker at the women's day and we loved hearing her speak!

See Blair you made the blog! P.S. the cookie butter milkshake from Arby's is delicious lol!

We were ecstatic when we made Jamie Ivey's IG!

That Sunday Dan & Ash headed to the Colts game so we headed to Motherbear's with these two!

Brownies make everything better, right??

Ash & I headed to Trader Joe's one Friday and also thrifted a little!

A day of baby showering & shopping for my own baby shower.....my own!?!? That is still crazy to me!

Give us all the fall pumpkins to celebrate Graham!

That's it for now!! Don't worry I have about another 5 posts coming your way....maybe I'll be caught up by the time Graham is here ;)
