Show & Tell Tuesday: Christmas Traditions

I do not have a big long post for today but I'm sharing 2 of our favorite traditions.
First up the Christmas parade & stroll....it was rescheduled due to weather and the night it was rescheduled for was FREEZING! Think the band, cheerleaders, & high school dance team too cold!
But we braved the cold long enough for the parade.

Jill, Hootie, & I :).

Oh sweet Elin with her wave!

My boss walked with his church so I snapped a pic lol.

And the final event was Santa!! I didn't get many pics because it was just too cold.

But Elin was happy as ever!

We headed back for pizza for dinner : ).

Noah had mentioned doing our gingerbread house after the parade and I'm glad he did.
My sister was home making her Christmas gifts (hello cute) so she had fun laughing at us!

A sneak peak of her blocks.....they are phrases for each holiday.

So at first we were a hot mess. We had no idea what we wanted to do with it and the icing was not cooperating.

But lo & behold it came around!

(I would live in my pjs if I could!)

Finished product!!! We love it!

I love this tradition we started when we were dating and cannot wait to continue it in years to come :).

Just for fun:

I cannot wait to read everyone's else traditions and see if we need to add any :).

More Holiday Cheer

There are 6 days until Christmas and this is how I feel :).

My sister and Noah are rolling their eyes :).
Our bosses bought us the Alexa Tap and I've been figuring her out all weekend!

Now for some holiday cheer!

I was able to watch these two cuties again :).
Elin was showing off her new boots and cheerleading uniform!

Oh Embry!!

Elin was tired and laid down...Embry joined :).

Two Thursdays ago Jaelyn had a fan crowd.

It was a very good game and they won!

 These people love her big!

I'm pretty biased :).

Last Friday I had a day off and enjoyed every moment of it!

My momma joined me early in the morning and we indulged in some peppermint drinks.

My bestie, Brittany, sent me this picture of us from high school.....along with a few others :).

I stole Elin's recipe from a Hallmark recipe book for sugar cookies.

I brought wine & peppermint mocha cookies for the basketball get together.

Last Sunday we watched Joe play.

Hair trim and warm scarves for the win!

I made homemade peppermint mocha cookies and they were delicious!

We headed to watch Cole in his girlfriend's church program.

He was really thrilled lol!

Then him and Taylor received gifts from Santa :).

Love my brother!

This is my favorite song right now by Hillary Scott.

Your face when you score a scarf for less than $10!

Happy to have pizza for dinner!

My sister sent me flowers last week...isn't she the sweetest ?!

Elin....you crack me up!!!

Baking some monster cookies!!

Holiday Cheer

A little holiday cheer for your Thursday :).

We had a ton of goodies left over from our hot chocolate bar so I enjoyed some peppermint sticks & marshmallows.

One Friday night we were doing our usual thing and decided we all wanted ice cream. Elin came with us and we had to document it.

The following morning (the start of basketball season) Lacey, Embry, & I headed to shop. I kept Embry occupied by taking selfies!

I mean couldn't you just squeeze her??

I ran to Jasper on a Friday afternoon and Sissy rode along :).

Another Friday night with this chick! She loves the filters lol!!

Every year my mom, her sister & sister-in-laws, and nieces all take a Christmas shopping trip. We didn't think it was going to happen this year but it did! We headed to Greenwood to shop!
Funny story: my sister & I were asked if we were twins!

Lunch at The Cheesecake Factory...so good!

And I indulged in the peppermint cheesecake!

We all spun the wheel at Charming Charlie!

I just loved the holiday decorations so much!

And Susan was part of the decor at Old Time Pottery :).

So this is where it got interesting! Most of us were done shopping and we always stay at my uncle's house in Westfield (an hour north of Greenwood.) Mom, Morgan, & I decided to stop at Kirkland's to look around. Long story short the keys were locked in the car....and we had an hour drive north!
We finally made it and everyone enjoyed pizza!

Sunday we scored coffee on the way home!

This is a really cute Boomerang video but I don't think it's going to load.

I talked about this wreath in my Christmas decoration post but I just love it so much and snagged it on the way home from our shopping trip!

I bought one for Ash as well and we took it out to her. We all decided to go for dinner and Joe was stylin'!

And I bought these at Trader Joe's and they are delicious!

Coffee & monster cookies for breakfast?? Yes!

That's what we've been up too!
