Friday Favorites!!

Happy Friday, February is almost over!

I'm linking up with Shay, Andrea, & Erika!

Wednesday night when we went to Evansville my main mission was a bathing suit and I knew I loved the way JC Penny's fit me but they were to expensive so I headed to Old Navy to see what they had.  And let me tell you...the whole store should be in my closet right now!!! I mean everything!  But since that wasn't possible I picked up this swimsuit, cardigan, and another shirt that were needed!! Loving everything Old Navy has right now...go check it out!

Also these two items are perfect for my hair right now, my hair tends to break really easy.  I have thick hair but it is fine and will hold nothing so I started using these 2 products as a trial and I love them!! I use the shampoo every time I wash my hair (which is about every other day) and put the serum in while my hair is still wet, I can tell my hair is not breaking as easily which is why I love these products...you can pick them up at your local Wal-Mart :)

And last but not least.....

I am in love with our engagement pictures!!! Our photographer did an amazing job!! We love them...thank you Jodie :)

Life Lately

It has been a busy week, seems like that's the case lately!!

Tuesday after work I picked up our wedding invites and got them all addressed!!

That evening I worked on my blog calendar, love getting organized and knowing what I'll be blogging about for the month!

Eek!! Our passports came in!!! So ready for St. Lucia!

This what my office looked like yesterday morning before work!! They are done and mailed out!!

Last night I had my dress fitting and Ash was supposed to come along....little did I know that Dan & the boys would be coming too!  So glad they did, love spending time with them...we ate at Cheddars and they were in rare form ready to pose for pics!

My sad face because I dropped my ring off to be soldered :(

Loving this quote and I am striving to do this :)

A day full of work and senior night tonight, which makes me sad and happy all at the same time! I am sad because I know Noah loves coaching and I enjoy watching him do what he loves but excited that I will have him to myself, even if it's only for a month & a half!

Happy Thursday!!!

30 Hour Famine: Before

This post is real, it's about the hungry.
Every year our church youth group participates in the 30 hour famine.  They do not eat for 30 hours to raise awareness and money for the hungry.  This weekend is our 30 hour famine. We will start at 12 on Friday and break our fast at 6pm on Saturday evening.

 Facts about the hungry...

This was our youth group last year and Saturday afternoon they all go out and collect canned food for our local food pantry.  Last year 43 of them collected 1,100 cans of food and raised over $12,000!!
These kids are amazing and are going to change lives!

Here is our fundraising page, if you cannot donate I ask that you pray for us during this time that we may rely on God when we think about how hungry we are.

Make it your fight!

Weekend Wrap-Up: Bachelorette Party Edition

Time to get caught up on what we did this weekend!

On Thursday I was feeling down for some reason and I opened my Jesus Calling book and this was that days read.  It was exactly what I was going through! It amazes me how great our God is and he is always there for us.

When I got home Thursday after work I had a package waiting for me outside!! I had ordered a new purse and some jewelry (I love bracelets!!!!!) from Charming Charlie.  I instantly switched my purse over and started carrying this one and love it!!!

Ash sent me this pic Friday morning, love this guy!!

Friday lunch from Winkler's was yummy!!! Look at that fresh fruit and I topped it off with a pumpkin chocolate muffin (anything pumpkin)!!!

Friday afternoon I got to pick up these sweeties after work!! I love this age they are at! They get into everything and love talking...we ate dinner at Bravos then headed back to Dan & Ash's for some catch-up time with their momma.

My heart!

A and I :)

Lane sat still for a whole 2.5 seconds for me to snap his pic and his sister was to busy getting into things for me to get a pic of her!

The start of my bachelorette party did not go as planned.  Our plans were to go to Indy...we had booked pottery, restaurant, howl at the moon, and a hotel.  Then Friday night/Saturday morning the weather changed our plans.  Indy got more snow/ice than we did so we decided it was not safe to head north.  We wound up going to Jasper.  Wal-Mart stop, movies, dinner at Wings & Rings, and back to the hotel for some games :)

Wal-Mart selfie with my besties :)

My MOH, Britt, and bridesmaid/sister, Morgan made these cute shooters with fun sayings!!

"What happens at the Bachelorette Party stays at the Bachelorette Party!"

Megan and Leah are amazing as always and made cookies and a cake!!

Fun gift sack :)

We headed to the movies where everyone met up with us, we saw The DUFF and it was so funny!!!

MOH selfie :)

Love my bestie :)

We had so much fun! One of the games was drop your panties here.  Everyone who came bought a pair of panties that reminded them of me and I had to guess who brought what!! My favorite were the Vegas panties from the girls we went to Vegas with in October!!

Sunday we got home around 11 am and had a relaxing afternoon.  Noah had the sectional draw at 4 and then we looked at a house...so exciting but nerve wracking at the same time!! I love getting to make decisions with him and we know that it's all in God's hands and we aren't rushing anything!!

Favorite Things Target Edition

Today I'm linking up with Andrea and Erika and showing you my favorite things from Target!!
I am super excited about this because we are registered here for our wedding!!

My favorite sports bra ever!! I always had trouble finding sports bras that supported me but these do!! I love them and have them in multiple colors!!

I don't have this cover up but it is definitely one I may purchase for the honeymoon!

Love these lamps for a future house (hopefully we've found one!) But these lamps are neutral and would be fun for our living room or bedroom!

And finally we registered for these for the wedding and I cannot wait to use them!! I had one pyrex bowl in college and loved it, now I just want the set!  My future SIL said that those are one essential I needed to register for so I took her advice!!

Happy Monday!!
